3 keys intermittently do not function, the "G, H, Delete" keys.

I am not able to identify a specific event process or action which enables or disables these 3 specific keys from functioning correctly. On occasion, multiple depression of the KB key activates the character and other times no response. The failure/success of the key functioning correctly is intermittent with no time of day or application activity being consistent.

These characters - G H & delete key are the only keys affected.

I recently reformatted the HD and reinstalled the OS/build from scratch and the experience continues.

Any comments or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

External KB and the virtual KB do not display this issue.

Re: 3 keys intermittently do not function, the "G, H, Delete" keys.

Hi Michael,

The problem with the keyboard is almost certainly Hardware related ( either with the keyboard unit itself or with the connection to the Motherboard ).

Is your notebook still under warranty?
