Anyone know a contact telephone number for HP Warranty/Proof of Purchase Department? [ Edited ]

I have been trying for 8 days now to get my "Out of Warranty" status corrected.  Apparently HP starts the clock on a warranty the day they ship it out the door to a retailer. HP Support tells me to FAX or Email Proof of Purchase to a specific FAX Number and/or email address

I have FAX'd and emailed my Sales Receipt dated March 01, 2010 and all other info (Owner name, address, email, serial number, product number, etc.) to the FAX number and then emailed to the email address after nothing was updated after 6 calendar days. 

It has now been 48 hours since I emailed the info and 192 hours since I FAX'd the info and still when I call support to get my Laptop repaired, I am told that it is "Out of Warranty" and they REFUSE to escalate the problem to the HP US TCO Escalations Team because the cannot escalate "Out of Warranty" computers!

I even provided feedback to the HP CEO Feedback line. So far NOTHING.  I'm still "Out of Warranty" after 10 Calendar Months of owning a Laptop that has a 12 Month Warranty. 

This is one of 6 hp/compaq laptops I own (in addition to 1 compaq desktop and 2 hp printers).

I have been a loyal HP Customer for 11 years but now.................

Moderator, there was no "Private" information in my post - only PUBLIC information that is on the very public HP Company Web Site.

I am trying to find a way to contact a person at HP Warranty /Proof of Purchase Department.
