Anyone know the model of the web camera used in the DV4-1200dx series laptops (98 Views)

Anyone know the model of the web camera used in the DV4-1200dx series laptops

I've come across a DV4-1225dx laptop and had to manually install vista 64 bit. Everything works great except I can't get the web camera to appear in device manager. There should be an area in device manager named Imaging Devices but there isn't. I've installed all the multimedia software from the driver page for this model but still no imaging device appears so I am going to try and install the  driver from the actual web camera manufacturer.

I would appreciate if anyone with a similar model can respond with the webcam and driver information found in device manager of their dv4 model laptop. Here is an example of the information I am looking for from device manager.

Maybe I'll have some luck finding the driver. :smileyhappy:
