Battery Explosion of my HP DV 2000 Laptop

Dear All,

 

My name is Ankush and i live in singapore. I am a proud owner of HP notebooks for past 5 years and today something happened that I cannot believe. The battery of my HP laptop exploded as soon as I switched on my laptop. Luckily my laptop was not in contact with my body. Small explosions started occurring and within few seconds my laptop was on fire and was emitting thick black smoke. I request you to please look into this matter and help me out.
