Battery memory low

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1030us Entertainment Notebook PC with Windows Vista operating system.

I keep getting an error message when I start up the computer that the "Storage capacity of the battery is low." I was told that this was the internal battery and not the external battery. How do I fix this.

Also my mouse pad doesn't allow me to tap it to select a button or select a box that the cursor is above. The cursor moves around fine and if I click on the left button on the mouse it will select whatever the cursor is above, but I can't click on the mouse pad to make a selection.

Thanks,

asma476

Re: Battery memory low

I think that is your notebook battery.  Remove the battery and just run with the power adaptor and see if the error goes away. If it does try this:

and this:

I think the double tap on the touchpad is just a setting from control panel under the touchpad options.
