Hello I have a QL60 model, already out of warranty.
Today i went for about 30 min afk the ntb was running only a browser with almost no load. When i came back the fan speed was jumping up and down despite the fact the temperature was only About 60-63 celsius.
I was woried so i wanted to restart but it didnt boot not even showing the bios window . The same for coupleof min after about 15 min it showed the boot window and started to boot windows. The fan slowed down like he always does but then it after few seconds kicked up again and the ntb went off![]()
I ahd an issue few months ago which got fixed with a bios upgrade (at last it didnt occur again) .
Im thankful for any oppinion and advice

Try a hard reset:
Remove the battery and unplug the DC power adapter.
press and hold the power button for more than fifteen seconds.
plug in the DC power adapter (leave the battery out for now)
press the power button
Best regards,
erico

The ntb was already for more than 30 min off with removed battery without AC so pushed the power for more than 15 sek.
After Tried to turn on, no response the ntb starts, the fan kicks up for few sek- less than 5 not even reaching the BIOS.
Any other ideas appart from that?

1) Remove both memory modules and put one of them in the lower soDIMM slot. Press the power button to see if it boots into Windows. If no joy try the same test with the other memory module.
2) Disconnect the hard disk to see if the hard drive has failed and is causing your no start condition. Read the sentence below #3 before continuing to #3.
3) Reset the CMOS by removing the CMOS battery for five minutes or longer.
The only hassle with this is that it will require a near complete disassembly of the notebook. You might consider having it done at a notebook shop if you don't feel like tackling that yourself..
If items 1-2 didn't solve the problem and your notebook is still in its warranty period (1st year of ownership) Contact HP for warranty service.
Here is a link to the Service and Maintenence guide.
please post your results.
Best regards,
erico

The ram point is useless only one ram module inside so if broken no luck.
I managed to get it run once ,on battery, it went trough bios it got to the windws not correctly ended but after choosing the normal start and enter again turn off and every attempt in the next minutes pointless. It looks like every time the fan should normaly slow down (when boting win) the ntb goes death.
I will see if i gonna try the HDD or take it to a shop for a check-up
, if they make a normal fee for that else gonna at last play on it {Content Removed}
