CD/DVD Not working

When I press the button for the CD/DVD drive on my Pavilion DV7 1245DX nothing happens. To get it open I have to use a small pin. I have tried to put a CD in and it does read. I have tried the fixes on line to update the driver but I am unable to locate it. It is like my CD/DVD is not there.

 

Could you please help me?

What if you right click the drive and select Eject.  Does it do it?  Might be a workaround unless the unit is under warranty, then you can have it replaced.
