CD Drive

The CD-Drive of my Presario C-40 is not working

i am inserting d Cd.....its shows thw waiting sign but nothing happens after that....and on clicking the CD drive in My Computer...

it shows a msg to insert the CD

 

 

i am using Windows 7 ultimate
