My dv7 1135nr died a couple months ago and I finally got around to atteepting to get it back to a running state. The problem occurred when I booted it and it did not boot into bios and it gives me led error code 1 which means "cpu not funtional." Does this mean the cpu is dead or damaged? I have already reseated it to no avail. If anyone knows a little bit more information than "cpu not functional" on led error code 1, please share it with me.

That code means your CPU is dead or not receiving power from the system board.
Your notebook is new enough to still be in warranty.

Thanks for the info, I'm out of warranty and since I already bought a new one anyways, I will probably end up taking it back apart and selling it for parts in that case unless I find a cheap replacement processor.
