Hello,
I need some prompt advice, please.
I just bought a DM3 1107 tx with the 2.26 GHZ Intel SP9300 and 4 MB of RAM. I am thinking about replacing the OEM 320 GB HDD with a 160 GB INTEL SSD.
Is this possible and worth the effort?
Will my DM3 1107 allow me to get the 'most' out of this SSD?
Is the installation easy enough even I can do it?
Thanks in advance!

I have one of these Intel manufactured SSDs in my brand new DM3 - and have been waiting for nearly a month to get it back from HP's repairer after it (the SSD) went toes-up after 2 only weeks.
According to the supplier (who is ducking for cover) these SSDs are "Not a fully matured product yet".
Meanwhile I've spent hours on the phone to HP/NCSS trying to get the machine fixed.
This has cost me a bloody fortune in phone calls, wasted time etc not to mention my business relies on this machine!
It only took 3 days from ordering to delivery, yet 30 days (and counting) to have it repaired.
NOT HAPPY JAN !
