Windows Vista 64 bit

All of a sudden the keyboard output is gibberish.  All keys function normally when typing except as listed below.  I have tried fn/NUMB LK combinations to no avail.  I reinstalled the driver.  No help.  I checked the language input in Keyboard and Languages.  I did a hard reset.  No help.  Hopefully someone can help me.

h key types nh6

backspace key types /

dash key types =,-

plus key types =,-

This is a new laptop only 30 days from the showroom.  At this point, I will try anything.  I am using the onscreen keyboard and it's a pain in the you know what.  Thanks.
