DV7-1243CL webcam is not working.

I have a DV7-1243CL running Vista SP1 64-bit.  My webcam is not working.  I cannot even find it in my device manager.  When I first bought the computer it was a refurb in August 2009.  The webcam worked fine... I have not tried to use the webcam since about October 2009 now my Ex-Husband is fighting over-seas and would like to Skype with our son.  I have messed with this until I have turned blue in the face. I believe the webcam I have is HP mediasmart webcam version 2.0 At one point I had deleted the driver and now I cannot find the right one to reinstall because there are so many.  I have tried a few and have gotten it close to working but even if i scan for hardware changes my system cannot find it. Please help...
