Disabled keyboard? Pavilion g7 notebook

i have an HP Pavilion g7 notebook running Windows 7. My keyboard doesn't work, like it's completely disabled. It was fine one minute, then my toddler banged on the keyboard for a few seconds and it stopped working afterward. Did he brake it or just disable it with a 'shortcut' key?  Or maybe it just went 'bad'.  Please help. And thank you for any help you can give me.

PS I'm using the on-screen keyboard to type this post......on-screen keyboard, Aaaarrrgh!

I'm having same problem with hpg60 notebook..  Sometime keys work-somtime they don't.

 i did not have toddler banging they just sopped working.  Hope there is a fix
