Hello, I'm the pround owner of a HP Pavilion G6-1205SQ using Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm having troubles with a missing PCI Device driver and SM Bus Controller (Device manager). I would like to install them and evenutally to fix the following problem with a certain aplication that keeps crashing (it is said it's because of my current graphic drivers This is the solution)
I'd like to thank you in advance.

Hi:
You need to install the chipset driver first and reboot.
Then you need to install the IMEI driver.
If the first version doesn't work, try this one.

One last question if I may, is it normal for device manager to show both the Intel and the Radeon graphic adaptor running? Someone suggested disabling the integrated one in order to not experience the error, but if I disable Intel HD then the Radeon gives me an error code 43.
And if it is normal, how can I switch from integrated to dedicated GPU ?

Hi:
Unfortunately, I know nothing about switchable graphics, and from all the problems I keep seeing about them, I will never buy a notebook PC with switchable graphics. ![]()
The best I can do is to give you this link which may be of help. If it doesn't, I suggest you start a new thread addressing the video issue you are experiencing.
