Dv7 - 3170el + Intel Turbo Boost Technology

Hi! I have a question for you guys:

How could I determine if the Turbo Boost Technology is active on my laptop? There are some options in bios menu or it's active by default? Thank for answer mates. Have a good work.

Re: Dv7 - 3170el + Intel Turbo Boost Technology

Intel® Turbo Boost Technology is not something that can be manually operating. This is embedded into the processor which turns on/off depending on the need of it. Please refer the following weblink for more details on this Technology:

So here is a monitor that will tell you when the Turbo Boost kicks in....http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031038.htm

On the HP consumer notebooks it will be on by default...plus we have not given any option to toggle that feature on/off..

But you have to remember few things about Turboboost...It works only under constrains of CPU Load, power Consumption of the CPU and Temperature...
