Your partition went bad on you and you corrupted the index of the drive. Did you install a new Windows 7 right over the top of the old drive? If so, not good. Stop using the drive. Files from the old installation can likely be recovered but it is not going to be easy. Post back if you want more help.

You already did by reinstalling Windows 7 over the top. Now the boot.ini points to two different Windows installations. You can modify it with a text editor to remove reference to the old installation. Can you access the data files from the old installation? They may still be there depending on how you did the second install. I would have done a chkdsk on the drive and a fixboot before a full reinstall of the OS.

What you want to do is go into the disk management tool (computer-right click-select manage-disk management) and change the properties of the recovery partition to active. Then the system will boot from the recovery partition and you should be able to do a factory restore if that is what you want to do. It would wipe everything off the drive. if you can copy the boot.ini file text here we might also be able to tell you how to modify it to boot from the recovery partition but I am afraid it will get stuck like that. I am also a little concerned that the drive has gotten so messed up it will not even take a factory restore. If it were my laptop I would completely nuke the drive and do a clean install of Windows 7 after recovering and separately storing any files I could get off the drive, but that is me.
The old files would be on the C: drive perhaps under another user name or even in a windows.old folder at the root of the drive

Right click on the recovery partition F: and choose mark as active and that should make it bootable. When you reboot you should be in recovery mode.
