Express card slot New dv7

I am waiting delivery of a new dv7. My old notebook (ancient and still running Windows 98) had a PCMCIA slot that I have a couple of cards for. My question is fairly simple,, will the old PCMCIA cards fit in the new Express card slot?

thanks in advance for your response.

No I am sorry to say they will not. Although most of the functions for which people used to use pcmcia cards have gone internal to laptops it is still a rude awakening for a lot of people when they can't use the old mobile broadband card on that new laptop and they have to spend more money to get a usb or expresscard version.
