Fatal fan-failure with dv7 41xx - only solution: replacement?

In order to make it short:

I have also this problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T23n3lN2kGA with my dv7 41xx bought in March 2011.

I think it is a total engineering/construction failure by HP, because it can not be fixed by driverupdate, bios update or anything else. There seems to be only 2 modes the fan uses: full stop or 100%.

It blows 100% when I am only using word or when only the desktop is displayed !

Is replacement the only solution? It is just about half a year old, it is still now fixed by HP. So can I replace it ang get an notebook of another series - for example the "g" series. How long would this process last and can I send it to HP without the hard drive due to data security - I need my notebook in business. Thats why I need a solution or rather a efficient notebook.

Would be nice if anybody provides a solution. There a so many "dv7 fan issue" threads in various languages out there. Seems to be a big problem.
