Hi 

I just bought a dv7-7005eo. I've tried to find some solutions on what HDD connector motherboard supports the SATA 150, 300 or 600 when I consider throwing an ssd instead.

Additionally, I discovered that the HDD cover sticks out a little that it does not sit all the way as it should be is this normal? or is producing errors on my. hope that someone can help me.

Your laptop supports SATA-III. Can you either post a picture of the hard drive cover issue or describe it a bit more based off this picture?

Hi thanks for your respond i actually got a new one because it was defect. but now i am searching for 2nd hdd caddy and the cable that connect it to the motherboard do you know where i buy it
