HDX16-1040us | Memory upgrade options

I just bought a HDX16-1040us Notebook and now i would like to upgrade the memory.

In the tech specs it says they used 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM SO DIMM 200-pin. Can i use DDR3 SDRAM Memory modules also? As far i can see i have a INTEL PM45 Chipset and this Chipset support DDR2 and DDR3.

The chipset might but the memory slots are only keyed to accept one kind of memory.
