Hello.
I recently bought a HP HDX16 notebook. Everything works fine under vista ultimate 32bit, except the remote control.
Under Device manager there are no unknown devices, but under ENE CIR RECEIVER it says there's a conflict:
Input/Output Range 0380 - 0383 used by:
Motherboard resources
Under the general tab it says that the device is working properly. I tried 3 different drivers for that receiver but it won't help.
there is always that conflict there. The Drivers i tried are 2.6.0.0, 2.7.2.0 and i think 2.6.2.0.
There is no problem with irq. Just the I/O output range.
I also tried changing the drivers for Intel chipset. > Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919 but no succes.
Can anyone help me?
tnx
David

I have the same problem but with the HDX18. Appears HP is remaining mute or has issues with responding to our inquiries.
This is a common reproducable problem. How come HP's engineers are not able to give a solution?

I too have the same problem with my HP DV6 1323el with Win7 Professional SP1
I have a problem with "High Interrupts" and I think this conflict can be the cause...
I read that there are many who suffer from this problem.
I state further that I have done all updates, uninstall and reinstall drivers, etc.etc.etc.etc ..
Someone who can tell me how to disable / uninstall "ENE CIR Riceiver" (I do not use).
thanks
