Hi All,
I have got an HDX x16 1350EL.
I have a problem with bass/treble button. It can't switch between bass and treble. Actually, it doesn't work everytime.
It is a hardware problem or a software one? Did enyone resolve the problem?

Yup, my HDX16 1310EA has just started doing this the last week or so and its really annoying.
HP Support were as useless as always and told me to reinstall the wireless driver which i have done.
I also run a full copy of Windows 7 from MDSN and they tried to blame that.
I have them coming to collect it next week but i see little point in them trying to 'repair' it if its a known issue.
The Eject button doesnt work, the bass treble doesnt work. Volume is ok but the constant wireless disconnecting and it turning from blue to orange is annoying.
I shall call them tomorrow and let them know about this thread.

Hey everyone! I wrote earlier and am STILL having this issue!! I am so frustrated right now and am calling HP tomorrow. As I write this, I have seen the WLAN Disabled message about 3 freaking times and the treble has, as usual, readjusted itself. While this stupid laptop seems to be possessed, I highly doubt that it is..... I am a college student, and tonight, I lost my internet connection during a timed online quiz... It was VERY inconvenient and I am highly upset about this. I have been waiting for a solution, but have not found one and I see that almost every day there is someone new posting about the same issue. I am very angry with this product and will post an update on any info I receive from HP tomorrow when I call them and raise hell.
"WLAN: Disabled" Message count (during the writing of this post): 12
