HP 13 Envy Notebook - Battery and warranty!

[ Edited ]

I was working and suddenly the notebook has been turned off (it was powered by Battery)!
Now when it not connected to the main power, sometimes works, sometimes does not turn on (or turn off in a few seconds)!
Sometimes when I connect it to the main power, sometimes the LED indicator is blinking (sometimes it does not)! Based on HP documentations when there is blinking on power indicator, both batteries are gone (fantastic quality)!

It is important to mention this is my second laptop and I bought it for its long-life battery! I have bought it June 2011 and used as my second laptop (not used it heavily like my other laptops)!
Furthermore the warranty information for my laptop shows it will be expired at 26.04.2012! What does it mean? Your warranty is not even a year?!

I have used all of your web site recommendations and it did not help!

Funny enough your tune system and "advanced system test" (at the start-up of the notebook), test the batteries and says it is healthy!! Meanwhile I have taken off both batteries, checked the connections and it seems everything is OK!!!
I bought this for its long-life battery! But it seems it has not been designed to work for the whole year!

I am very disappointed!!!

Re: HP 13 Envy Notebook - Battery and warranty!

[ Edited ]

It does seem HP support team are quite slow, earlier today there was a reply but after I responded the email, I have not got any response (probably this may take another two days)! In comparison with other companies I can NOT give HP a positive mark!!! This is NOT  a good support at all!

Let me provide more details about the problem (just in case, maybe somebody read this)!!!

This Notebook has two batteries and non of them were even slightly low in all malfunction occasions (this is what I don't understand about the problem, it seems there is some sort bug in hp notebook)! These events seem totally random (as they do not happen all the time).

First time, I thought I might have low battery but when I came back home and connected the notebook to the main power supply, one of the batteries had %80 and the battery indicator at windows status bar showed the other battery is not present (strange)! The power lead was connected and the windows status bar showed it is connected but not charging and LED indicator was blinking to white and yellow (instead of yellow without blinking)! I turned off the notebook, left it for a while connected to power lead  and turned it on, everything became normal.

I thought it was some sort of one-off event! That was about two weeks ago, but now it happens again and again! And always both batteries are roughly full! Each time I've lost some of my works and time when I needed mobile computing!

As far as I checked the BIOS is updated to the latest version (I will double check)!

I will do the hardware reset later today! To be honest, I expected better quality from HP, I have a few more computer devices but none of them has damaged my work as much as this HP notebook (as I needed it when I'm travelling to the conferences and meetings).

If it is not possible to find some sort of certain solution for this problem, I will have to buy another notebook with %100 reliability (I'm very disappointed).

New issue:

I have noticed another recent thing; When I click on the battery indicator (at the windows status bar) it says;
Battery #1: available (plugged in, charging)
Battery #2: available (plugged in, Not charging).
Why the Battery #2 is NOT charging?! (you may include this to the others problem with this notebook).

Re: HP 13 Envy Notebook - Battery and warranty!

Well I have a Envy 17 not a week old and there is a red X in the battery icon. I would not have bought it had I known about battery problems. Canto I return at a week old or am I doomed to a problem laptop life?
