HP 60 will not power on ?

I dropped my HP 60 and broke my screen and I think a something else because when I power on my laptop the power light blinks  continuously(this is while on the ac adapter) the laptop will not turn on without the adapter.... I took apart my laptop and did not see any broken piece. Aside from the screen which Im waiting to replace because I want to know if I have a more serious/expensive fix that is not worth the aggravation. I noticed that the bottom of the laptop where the fan is located gets very hot after a few minutes, but I hear the fan spinning? Or is the fan not actually spinning? I left the laptop on the charging adapter to see if I could get some juice into the battery and operate the laptop without the charger, but no luck.

 

I beleive it could be a battery and or fan issue, plus the screen... please help!
