Hello,
Since I bought this notebook I cannot use hotkey buttons cause they does not work. I know that ACPI\HPQ0006 device is responsible for hotkey working or not. But I cannot find this device in device manager.
So, I would like to ask anybody using hp 8560w mobile workstation on this forum to check in device manager if device with ID ACPI\HPQ0006 exists on his/her notebook. This device should apear in keyboard node in device manager ( to identify this device you should go to properties of device to details page and choose form Properties "Hardware identification" ). I would like to be sure that it should be present, cause I dont want to bother hp support if problem is caused by something else.
For now I cannot find this device, and my hotkey does not work, all available software from support page is installed, no option in BIOS exists to turn on/off this feature ( or simple I cannot find it, so if anybody know how to enable/disable hotkey buttons
please help).

PS. for quick checking you can run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\A

Ok, found solution to my problem, that was not a problem with direct hardware failure. The reason of not working hotkeys was not connected cable to zif socket under keyboard. HP shame on you for your quality checking service.
