HP DV2742SE Keyboard Issues

I have an HP DV2742SE laptop, dual booted with Winows Vista Premium and Windows 7 Ultimate, this issue happens in both. In fact, it just happened as I was trying to type this three times. When I am typing, one of a few things frequently happens: the cursor moves to an arbitrary place in the sentence, the cursor highlights a majority of the sentence and deletes it, or the window I am typing in closes. This is incredibly frustrating and happens **bleep** near every time I try and type something. I have updated the BIOS and flushed out the keyboard with compressed air, both to no avail. I truly hope someone can help me with this, thanks!

 

Also, this computer is only one year old.
