HP DV5 SE White Needs bottom of case; Palm rest or left mouse button - WHERE TO BUY???

I'm having a heck of a time trying to locate replacement parts/pricing for my laptop.

My laptop got accidently dinged up through limney schnikets (a series of unfortunate events- lol).

I need:

a white SE DV5 Palm rest (or just the left mouse button; but I was told this was an "assembly" and I cannot simply replace the button that is not functioning well) - not sure if this is fact or fiction

I also need need to repair the two usb jacks on the right side.  They are "loosy goosey" and do not hold a USB.

Last; but not least..  My computer will not hold a charge with the battery.  I reported this to HP while under warranty. They sent me a replacement battery. I thought this was the problem.  In reality.. it was not.  It was that it was not actually charging the battery discovered a few weeks later; and HP said I was out of warranty then..  GREAT!..

So I need to some how fix this problem as I can only operate this computer while it is plugged in.

I know this sounds like 500 issues.. but it must be less expensive to fix these problems than to buy a new computer.  The computer works very well itself.

Even if I have to live with just using it with a powe cord..  I'll deal.

But.. if anyone knows where I can buy the palm rest.. and maybe a new top peice (not the bezel.. the thumb touch part..

Let me know please.. I've been searching almost 2 years for these parts.. grr!!  I've called HP and talked in circles to get information on the parts, and to get directed on where to order them. I looked on parts and services online and got NO where..  I started giving up.  I honestly feel HP should have fixed the battery issue..  it really bums me out. but..  the cosmetic issues.. are bugging me.

 There are two top cover's (palm rest's) available one with a finger print reader and one with out.

486527-001 and 486526-001  Look on page 84 of the guide.

You can also enter the part numbers on the HP site, but it can get quite expensive, Googling them will also yield results.

The buttons are not available separately, as far as I know.

 It's interesting that yours is white as when I bring up your model number, it shows it as silver.
