HP DV7 4020sa Startup Hard disk problem

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to fix my friends laptop issue.

When i press the ON button it goes on. Sometimes it will run Windows but sometimes not, and that's what happen next:

 

Black screen with information that Boot device is not found and please install and operating system on your hard disk ( HArd Disk 3F0)

When i try hard disk test it shows a message that hard disk was not found, but when i take it to my other laptop it does so hdd is fine.

 

Cooling fan stops working. I thought that's the problem so i replaced it already with new.

 

I can hear strange sound from the HP triple bass speaker

 

Also the led light at wifi button flashes like there is loss of power.

 

Laptop is getting hot so i turn it off cause i know it might got damage

 

Please help me out someone, i can post some pics or record a start up video.

Sounds like a failing motherboard.
