HP Dv6 = Fire-Hazard (Random Rants Episode 1)

Below is a YouTube video Link to my Rant about my HP Dv6

HP, I do not want a Copy and Paste Disclaimer or anything along those lines. All I ask is that you watch the 15Min. YouTube video below and realize how much you piss off your customers. Again I do not even want a Post from you on this Forum, I simply wish you watch the video till the end.

You mean listen to the video?, there is no video output that I can see.

Everyone knows the DV6 series has many issues.

Sorry I could not listen to all of it, I only like short and concise rants.

The dv6 is not on the settlement list, that is the dv6000, an older series. I also started to listen but got bored rather quickly. Brevity, sir, is the soul of wit.

Thanks for the clarification, maybe HP is going to continue the tradition?

Re: HP Dv6 = Fire-Hazard (Random Rants Episode 1)

Not trying to hijack this thread, just thought maybe you would get a kick out of this HP Pavilion DV6000 modification.

These HP Laptops run way to hot, the pavilions were notorious and now even the newer models are overheating.

I have actually modified an HP Pavilion laptop just to show what it actually takes to make one of these run at normal temps.

Can you imagine, if HP had just put one extra little fan or breather hole right under the Northbridge chip or just a differently designed heat sink, probably half of all the failures would never had happened.

Here is the Vid on youtube:

.

Sad part is Nvidia took the heat for this issue, no pun intended.
