HP Envy 15 1060ea unresponsive keys

Hi everyone,

 

In the last few weeks a problem has started occurring with my 4 month old HP envy. After it boots up, or it wakes from sleeping several of the keys on my keyboard become unresponsive. The 6, 7, Y, U, H, J. N and M keys don't seem to do anything when pressed, I'm not sure if it is sigificant but these keys are in two diagonal rows. If I keep pressing the keys they eventually seem to start working again, however this seems to only last a short period of time too. While typing this message, the keys have stopped working about 4 or 5 times, which is very frustrating as you can imagine.

 

I've researched around a bit and I haven't managed to find this exact problem anywhere and would be grateful for any suggestions anyone may have.
