My touchpad on my HP Envy has been causing me issues for awhile. Now that I've installed my wireless wacom tablet it's gotten even worse.
Conditions:
- since installing the tablet drivers my mouse pad tends to turn off randomly. won't turn back on unless i plug in a USB mouse
- when typing, the mouse tends to jump to another portion of the document which pretty much screws up my document as i begin typing on a different part of the document. (happens alot when my palm slighty grazes the touchpad)
- using two finger gestures, scrolling on web pages or even folders can actually become a pain in the ass.
I'm using the following synaptics drive: 15.3.33.0
Any help would be nice.
thanks!

Hi,
Try installing an earlier version of the TouchPad driver as follows - the following assumes you have a Windows 7 64bit OS.
First, download the latest Synaptics driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54501-55000/sp5476
Next, open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has fully reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click the Synaptics installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again.
Regards,
DP-K
