HP G60-519WM battery

I have two HP lap top batteries one in a Compaq and one in a HP G60-519WM lap top.  Both batteries are 10.8V 47Wh.  They are the same physical dimension and fit in either machine.  One says replace with HP 485041-002 the other says replace with HP 484170-001.

 

At this time, I can not get the HP G60 to start-up.  I have switched the batteries between the two PCs and neither will start-up witht he other machines battery.

 

1.  Is there any difference between the two replacement batteries? 

 

2.  Is there a way to determine if a battery is bad? 

 

3.  What is the price for a replacement battery?
