I recently replaced the fan in my HP HDX18t. It runs fine, it's just that it isn't automatically adjusting speeds when it needs to. It just stays one constantly, somewhat slow, speed. I have tried Speedfan and other various programs with no such luck. Help?

Check the BIOS for a 'Fan always on while on AC power' and disable it.
