HP Mini 210's battery doesn't fit tightly!

Hi, I recently bought a HP Mini 210 1010NR (Black).

Everything seems working okay; however, I found that its battery doesn't fit tightly.

There are two battery locking places.

One that has a "spring" has no problem, but the other one has.

I see this problem while I'm pushing no spring side of the battery inward after locking it properly.

That side slightly moves inward, and then comes back to its starting position when I release the force.

The locking button with no spring also slightly slips to unlock position at the same time.

It then stays in the slipped position.

Is this a normal situation?

Does anyone have the same problem like mine?

I have the same problem. I have a return being processed. I hope that the locking tabs are both supposed to have a spring. One of mine doesn't  as yours.

I also have the same issue - I found just sticking a small amount of putty beside the tab without the spring was enough to keep it in place.

Hi,            my  hp mini has exactly the same battery problem you discribe, one looking tab has a spring , one does not.

                 The battery slips out at on end. Is this correct, and what is the solution ,and HP's position.

I just got my HP Mini yesterday, put the battery on and discovered this problem right away.  I was about to send it back until I saw these posts.  Anyone have a response from HP on the problem, yet?
