HP Pavilion DV5 Boot Error

Have tried all recommendations found here and on the web.  When I remove the battery and plug in the power supply and press the power button, the power button and the wifi button flash once, then a long pause and they flash again.  This happens continuously.  I tried removing the battery and unplugging the power supply and holding down the power button for 60 seconds and then trying to boot again with power only and the same result.

 

Have only had the laptop 6 months and it came with Windows 7.

I believe at this point you are going to have to make a warranty claim. The problem is hardware related and should be covered by the one-year warranty. You have done about all you can do without jeopardizing the warranty.
