Using Dxdiag my memory and graphics show as:
Memory: 4062MB RAM
Aprox Total Memory: 2270 MB With a Nvidia GeForce 9200m GS graphics card.
My question is, with this laptop am I able to get a better piece of hardware and upgrade these or would it fry the motherboard?

Hi,
Looking at the specifications for your machine ( detailed on the link below ) it looks as if you can quite happily upgrade to 8GB of Ram ( presuming you're running a 64 bit OS ).
For all practical purposes you will not be able to change your graphics card as it is physically soldered to your motherboard.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
DP-K
