I just want to confirm one thing. So you installed system this time by using retail version of Windows CD/DVD not recovery CD/DVD right? Which system is installed on this model now?

same problem with my Pavilion dv6 blue screen and a repeating annoying sound once i watch a videos in youtube or play a game in my laptop. i already done some of the advices here in this forums. this is the first time that i will post regarding my problem with my dv6.

Hi, i starded to get BSOD almost every hour so i reinstalled my windows 7 64bit from recovery disk, i also installed the newest drivers from hp page for my model (dv6 3040ec) but i keep getting BSOD. Hello Daniel,

Please can you help me out? I have formatted my hp pavilion dv6 laptop numorous times because of the BSOD's i have beeg getting recently. They used to pop up now and then, but recently I get it atleast 4-5 times a day! Either when I surf the net, or just the surf the computer itself, anything, a BSOD will pop up.

Please help me out! 

My system is Vista, 32bit, sp1.
