Turning on my laptop, I receive the normal bootup sounds that the computer makes, but the screen isn't lighting up. I've tried to boot from a cd and safe mode but nothing seems to work. It seems like the bios isn't loading at all, and I was told it might be a motherboard failure. Can anyone help me? Thank you much! I'm in school and I need to use it ASAP.![]()

Hi!
Try connecting an external monitor to your laptops HDMI or VGA port and see if you get something on that. If you get a picture to the external monitor, there is a good chance that your display is broken. If you don't get a picture to the external display, then the fault probably realy is on motherboard.
