about:
HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop with a 4gb ram with 3.31 usable, 250 GB internal SATA HARD DRIVE, Windows Ultimate 7 X64 bit, Intel Quad Core 1.83 GHZ.
error code:
0x80070005
problem over view:
My laptop will not allow me to access the internal sata hard drive whether it is to run a program, to look at my personal documents or download a program. I continuously get an error and when I check the error number it states it is a possibility Malware or Virus took over my hard drive. So I installed The Microsoft Security Essentials Malware/Virus Remover onto my external Toshiba 3.0 500GB hard drive, it took it 20 hours to go through 900,000 files in C drive and it states it had no viruses or malware. However I still can not get into my C:// drive to access my personal documents and programs. I actually went out purchase a brand new HP all in one desk top yesterday just to ensure I could get my homework done before my finals tomorrow. What is going on with my laptops internal hard drive to cause this issue.
note:
I can power the laptop up like usual, it does everything perfectly. I click on my user account, and when I get in everything starts up like typical. Until I click on Microsoft Office, My Documents Folder, My Computer and Skype. The only thing that works is Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and basic controls. I had to run microsoft security for external hard drive
