HP Presario C700 Screen (without Built in Cam)

Hi their everyone , can anybody help me please. I have just replaced the smashed screen on my Daughters Presario C700 with the screen and lid (complete) from a C700 with built in cam.Although the screen is working perfectly the web cam does not ,is it incompatible or is their a driver or software that I need to make it function.Any advise greatly recieved
