I was just wondering which of these two models are up to date. Is the m series laptop newer than the dv7t? And what's the difference between the two series? Thanks ![]()

The Base dv7t 7000 costs more but uncludes Blu ray / DVD RW, and is black brushed aluminum and has a 2 year warranty
the M7-1015dx comes with 9 cell battery, backlit keyboard and Bluetooth that are all "optional" on the dv7t but lacks the Blu ray player and is Natural Silver Brushed Aluminum and 1 year warranty
the dv7t is currently a CTO machine that takes 3-4 weeks to get, the m7 is at best buy NOW

thanks for the comparison. i use consumer reports as well as internet to double check items but the m series is too new. i was looking at this model tonight at best buy. their sale price is actually the list price everywhere else i have looked... i also have been looking at the dv7 7012nr, which is not available by best buy. :-(
