HP550 Touchpad

I am working on a customer’s HP550 laptop that has issues with its touchpad. I am unable to find out where to disable the feature where you double tap on the touchpad to simulate a left click on the mouse. I have checked in the control panel and the only features that are close is for the mouse, and tablet pen. I thought that the tablet pen feature may be the same, so I disabled those features without any luck.

Any input that you have would be greatly appreciated.

did you checked to see if the touchpad is detected on the device manager?
