The sound jacks are on a module soldered to the motherboard. It would be very hard to find a replacement module and even harder to unsolder the old one and put a new one in its place. You would need a new motherboard which is like using a sledge hammer to kill a gnat. I assume the sound card itself is good and you get sound through the speakers when the headphones are not plugged in. A simple and cheap solution is to get a usb sound card. They look like a memory stick but have a headphone jack in them. Windows Xp and higher has a good driver for usb sound built in so it is plug and play. They also have the advantage of providing better and louder sound than the onboard system. I use one when doing presentations that involve audio as the little usb thing does a much better job of driving a serious set of speakers. The last one I bought at Frys cost like $15.
