Helllllllp!!! Battery Issues.

Hey guys! I have an HP Pavilion dv6, and I've just noticed that my battery wasn't charging, and the battery status is unknown. Before I ask for a refund or buy a new battery I jsu twanted to know if anyone else has had this problem. If you could help I'd greatly appreiciate it! Thank you. -Q
