I don't own one, but if you remove both RAM sticks, the model number of the mother board is underneath them ending in -001. The model number can be Googled or you can enter it in the ebay search box in your country.
If you lost the mother board then there are a few of them listed in the service manual on page 5-70.

Unfortunately your product specs are not listed so I can't tell you if you were running an Intel or AMD processor.
Here are a couple of examples from ebay US.
These people ship world wide.

I thought I would post what I have as you may never get a response from a dv2112 tu owner.

I will tell you exactly how to get the motherboard model number if you still have the laptop with the motherboard in it. Open the memory door on the bottom of the laptop and under the memory modules there is a number painted on the board. That is the motherboard part number. Honest.
It is one of these:
417035-001
417036-001
417037-001
440777-001
440778-001
440768-001
HP does not have the specs for your model posted on this site. If I knew what features it had I could tell what motherboard came with it.

That is a motherboard for a dv4 model, much newer and different from a dv2000 model. Are you sure you gave us the correct model number for your laptop?

Huffer is correct, the MoBo is for a dv4 not a dv2000.
If the HP rep is wrong I don't think she is lying, but uninformed or you gave her the wrong information _ she would have no reason to lie to you.

Not uninformed; misinformed. Your model number is dv4-2112tu and now you have the right motherboard model number which we could have given in the first place if only we had been given the correct information.
