How can I use the fingerprint reader?

My laptop, is a Pavilion dv6-2170ee.

I used the fingerprint reader in it usually. Then I sent it to HP for a HD repair. When they returned it, I hadn't got some of the pre-installed programs I had earlier (ex; HP Games), and for some reason it wouldn't detect my finderprint reader. I couldn't solve it by downloading the driver for it. The one Microsoft provided was for Vista.

Please help. I do not want to face the inconvenience of remembering tens of hundreds of passwords... =(

Please re-register your finger on Validity Fingerprint Sensor on your computer. You should have  Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver on your notebook, If you are not able to locate it then please install the software from hp.com by entering your product number in the search field > select the windows you have on your notebook > Expand Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices, you should fine Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver and you should be fine

First of all, how do I install Validity Sensor? I can't get it to work....

Please click on the link below and select the Windows on your computer and Click next, Then expand Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices, there you will find  Validity Sensor and click on that and then click on download button and run the file. once it is excuted then please look for the program in all programs and register it .

iam already installed recent validity sensor sp45050,but i don't know how to use the software
