How do I connect my mouse??

Hello,

 

I am having problems connecting my mouse. I did it once and have never been able to do it again.  I have the HPG72B53NR Notebook and the HP mouse.  I would appreciate any help as I really need to use my mouse with the work i am doing.

Is this a USB mouse or Bluetooth mouse?

A USB mouse is usually pretty easy to get working simply by plugging into a USB port with no drivers required.What problem are you having? Does the laptop not respond at all to mouse when plugged in?Any error messages,etc?

Have you checked the batteries in the mouse? Most wireless eat batteries like crazy...except Logitech.

you won't believe this but i have finally got it to work.  I don't think i was hitting the connect the right way...i have no idea but thank you so very much for taking the time out to answer my questions.  Have a nice night!
