Hp62 laptop won't turn on

My laptop recently went black and turned off. Now the power button doesn't work at all and when the power cable is plugged in, the light doesn't show that it is charging . It doesn't make any kind of sound when pressing the power button nor does removing the battery and what not work. Nothing I have tried works and it just sits there dead. It was hot when it shut off but I had it on a cooling pad st the time and wasn't abnormally hot.

Re: Hp62 laptop won't turn on

Hi

Please try these steps might help you to fix your issue on your unit. If there is no light next to power port then issue could be the Adapter. If there is light next to power port then try the stesp given below.

Testing and Using the AC Power Adapter

Troubleshooting Error Messages on a Black Screen that may Occur During Startup or Boot

If this does not work you can try to reseat the Hard drive & Memory on your unit.
