Please try these steps and check first press enter button to boot to windows then update the Bios from HP website then clean the Vents off the Fan and check if you still are getting the error message then please call HP Technical support and get the part repalced.

i am having the same problem and a friend of mine said that i should let the laptop be properly ventilated as i had it on a flat surface but i am still seeing the message when i turn it on and it is pretty annoying and i had high ratings for hp but that ratings have went down as i only bought this laptop last year may and its giving problems now its a hp pavillion dv6 with the fingerprint password thing and i just want a good solution to my problem please if you could assist me as i am very furious about this.....thank you
