Hi,
I am trying to install SELD 11 on my HP dv2130us. I hav got most of the components working out of the box except the IrDA and Modem. Does any one lnow what are the chipset vendors for the IrDA and Modem? Thanks in advance.

The iRDA is only for the remote control. It cannot be configured for infrared networking for example. The modem is a Conexant HD Softmodem. Here is the Windows driver:
It has been quite a few years since I tried to configure a modem on Linux. In the day I used to use Linuxant which is kind of like ndiswrapper with wireless and runs the Windows driver in some kind of a package.
